Review on Aqueon Fish Heater 10 Watt Plastic by Sandra Landgrebe

This heater is good. I replaced the old one I had which worked pretty well for about 2 years. I had a difficult situation and left the heater plugged in and plugged into the tank. This led to overheating of the device and its failure. Guilty. Do not do that. However, the one I killed always kept my 2.5 gallon tank at the ideal temperature of 72 degrees. This is not a good product to use in a tank under 3 gallons. It gets too hot even with proper circulation. I'm going to buy a bigger tank to replace the 2.5 gallon and I'm going to put that heater back into that tank. Overall this product works well. Circulate the water well and probably provide at least 3 gallons or more of it.
