I haven't read the description or reviews so I can't fault the device for not working for what I need. I ordered a device that acts as a switch for two sources on one screen. In my defence, when I saw a generic 3 in/out HDMI switch selling for over $20 I assumed it would be bi-directional, but it isn't. Although it doesn't work for my needs, I decided to test it anyway to see if it's worth the price. Spoilers I don't think so. It works great, but it's actually the HDMI switches that usually work. Knowing I can get another bi-directional device for about the same price or less, I can't recommend it unless it's selling at a high price.
