Works quite well. However, the design makes it difficult to use a spirit level to lift it straight up due to the curved safety bars. So I think you should measure and align the holes first. Also, don't put it too close to the ceiling because the bike wheel needs space. In addition, the bracket protects the wall from dirt from the upper wheel, but not from the lower one. I did not use the screws or dowels that came with it. Fasten with a good quality 2" wood screw only.
