I opted for the Honor Band 5 watch because of the wide variety of displays that can be added via the companion software, as claimed by the maker. As it turned out, though, the answer is "no." Huawei customer service has confirmed that this feature is not available on their fitness bracelets. Specifically, there is no way to set up a show (consisting of around 40 individual components) using the canonical app. The informational content and aesthetics of the new displays are downgrades from the previous generation. The Honor Band 5 bracelet type that will be available to buy in 2022 is also functionally identical to the Honor Band 4.
