My truck has a 6 inch jack that is sagging. Originally the retainer had a 1.5" cone box tube gasket. After I added a cover and lots of tools, the back of my truck sagged so badly that I was shaking violently at about 5-15 mph after replacing a worn carrier bearing. The bearing retainer was much thicker than the bearing holder so it messed up the gimbal alignment badly.Surprisingly with this kit I only needed 1 large shim to realign the driveshaft.My only concern is that they need to be tapered not flat to do so the holder can be tilted a bit and being completely flat the carrier sits slightly askew on the drive shaft leading to premature wear.
