My truck has a 6 inch jack that is sagging. Originally the retainer had a 1.5" cone box tube gasket. After I added a cover and lots of tools, the back of my truck sagged so badly that I was shaking violently at about 5-15 mph after replacing a worn carrier bearing. Does not look like the picture but is the correct part. This is basically a pair of pieces of metal with 2 holes in the right place. They are made of good metal and properly machined. They are not black or powder coated, but bare metal. no difference, still under the car is not visible. It doesn't feel like it should cost $40 more than $20, but to be honest it would be more work to machine them to the right thickness and holes to align them perfectly than $40 is worth .
