These mugs are huge. I know it tells you how much they hold, but I guess I didn't know how much it actually was. They may be ok for hot/warm chocolate, but for coffee or tea they are so big that the drink cools down very quickly. The pins are big enough that I can put 3 fingers in and rest them on my pinky which would be great other than that. The cup is heavy and if I have to support it with my pinky my pinky burns (when I pour it for the first time and it's hot). Depending on how much you pour into it, it can be difficult to hold the cup with one hand. We only fill them 1/2 full because the coffee cools so quickly that we're hoping to drink it while it's still pretending to be warm. I like her look but I would have liked it more if there was another bright color. . Dark blue, black, and dark green look like the same color. I would suggest bright yellow or orange, or even more vibrant blues and greens. Red is the only bright color. They appear to be sturdy and very well packaged in styrofoam cut outs in a medium strength box. I included a picture comparing them to the size of my previous mugs which I thought was the perfect size. Unfortunately I'm looking for a replacement.
