The Plustek OpticBook scanner has its pros and cons. The current Plustek scanner (3900) works very well and continues to scan with excellent quality. This is my fourth Plustek scanner and previous scanners have shown to last 3-4 years. I'd like something that lasts a little longer (compared to Epson etc) but overall the Plustek will be hard to beat.
