Review on πŸ” Sosanping Metal Tippie Top - Gyroscope.com's Flip Over Spinning Toy by Rick Rownd

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great item, well made

This is a high end top. Note that it's small and it's from the UK so it takes a little longer to get there, but mine arrived earlier than expected at about a week. It's polished aluminum in a light silver color. The image is dark gray, like tungsten. These are expensive for a small toy, but they're hard to find and most of the others are made out of wood. It is machined from a single piece of aluminum and cannot be made cheaply. It is very well balanced and lasts forever. In one of the other reviews there was a comment about it not being fully flipped; I'm not sure if it malfunctioned in any way, but the one I received works exactly as advertised. Works better on some surfaces than others, the smoother the better. There are videos showing spinning the top if you look for the top. Found a company online that sells them, not sure if it's the same company or not, but it's in the UK and they're $27. All in all I think it's worth the price and I've just ordered another one as my son took mine. I also like the educational value in it. It took me a little time to understand how it works, then I looked it up on the internet, but with the younger ones it may take a little time to understand the physics or explain the physics of it to them. If you just want kids to spin the top you can get one cheaper and faster with other options, but if you want a very high quality item that also has some educational value I highly recommend this one.
