Overall I am happy with this USB charge voltmeter. As a former truck mechanic, I'm used to having voltmeters in all vehicles. A voltmeter provides information about a car's battery and charging system and can be invaluable. Pros: This voltmeter is a USB device that plugs into multiple "empty" spots in my 2006 4Runner. I decided to place it behind the shift console. The wiring harness is long enough to place this unit almost anywhere. Installation was fairly easy using the included instructions, but not quite "plug and play" for those without mechanical skills. The USB charging port also works well. CONS: The blue display is TOO BRIGHT for night driving. It's very distracting and I placed it near my right thigh next to the driver's seat. I can't imagine how distracting it would be if I decided to place it in front of me in the dash fascia area. I'll try to use double sided tape and a small piece of clear gift wrap to try and mask some of the brightness. I recommend this product. Unless the buyer knows about splicing and/or finding a suitable wiring location, I would recommend having a qualified installer install it as this is not an easy "plug-in" device.
