I bought these for my grandson along with a cheap digital USB visor. They are amazing. They're cheap, safe, and contain lots of fun stuff for kids. These are child safe slides specially designed for school children. Of course they are of low quality and will be blurry. Don't hold plastic slides to the same light quality and refractive standards as glass slides. Just wanted to finally write a review for them because I continue to recommend them to parents looking for microscopy kits and I recommend this kit regularly. And I was discouraged reading some of the negative reviews. That's right, we get it, these safe plastic slides have a much lower quality of refraction. So they're a bit blurry. AND? This is a good product, it works exactly as advertised, it's safe and the quality is just perfect for groomed slides that are safe for children. We have benefited greatly from them. I have recommended this set to many. I think I'll do that now in a review.
