In general, I am very pleased that I am the owner of this processor, before it was the Intel Core i7 2700k which I used for 4.5 years, by switching to it I got a 2.5-fold increase in performance when processing photos and graphics. This processor has excellent overclocking potential, fast and productive, it is more aimed at working with calculations than at gaming tasks, and if we compare it with other 4th generation or 6th generation 4-core i7, then in games it is not the strongest player, but speaking about solving serious computing problems, this is an excellent processor that does a good job of video decoding, 3D graphics processing and, of course, photo processing, especially for those who need fast memory exchange, 4-channel mode is a huge plus. He is also quite smart when coding HTML and so on. For those who choose a processor for gaming needs, I recommend looking towards modern 4-core solutions, since they are quite enough for most games, and when overclocked in games, they show themselves no worse, even better.
