Works great. Hey, did you know Atwood did a 1 3/4 post too. 1.75 and 1.77 correct post. My point is if you are buying this for an old boat mount you can check the mount size with a caliper. My boat was new to me and the previous owner said he thought it was a 1.77 mount but it wasn't. Eventually the 1.77 will go into the 1.75 mount with some force, but don't do it. You will need a vise to pull it out. If your mail doesn't get through easily, you have the wrong base.
