The Attwood Snap Lock Fixed Height is an excellent accessory for those who love spending time in Sports and Outdoors. Based on my observations, this product is made of high-quality materials that are durable and weather-resistant .The installation process was quick and hassle-free. The product has a sleek and stylish design that complements any boat. The only CON I found was that the product is a bit expensive compared to other similar products in the market. Overall this is a great investment…

Durable and Reliable Snap Lock

The Attwood snap lock is a must-have for boaters looking for a sturdy and reliable product .Based on our own experience, the snap lock fixed height is easy to install and securely holds the boat seat in place, providing stability while out on the water. The build quality is top-notch and can withstand harsh marine environments. The only downside is the limited options for adjusting the height of the seat. Overall a great investment for any boater looking for a reliable and durable seat snap…

Pros
  • Convenient snap lock mechanism for easy installation and height adjustment
Cons
  • Difficult to remove once locked in place

Check your baseplates.

Works great. Hey, did you know Atwood did a 1 3/4 post too. 1.75 and 1.77 correct post. My point is if you are buying this for an old boat mount you can check the mount size with a caliper. My boat was new to me and the previous owner said he thought it was a 1.77 mount but it wasn't. Eventually the 1.77 will go into the 1.75 mount with some force, but don't do it. You will need a vise to pull it out. If your mail doesn't get through easily, you have the wrong base.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Not the best
