Review on πŸ“· PERGEAR 7.5mm F2.8 Fish-Eye Manual Focus Lens for Nikon Z Mount APS-C Mirrorless Camera Z50 by Jay Elgouhari

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Was ready to be disappointed but was pleasantly surprised.

I bought this spontaneously because of the price and was satisfied. It would not be something I would leave. But when it arrived I found that it's actually very well built, feels good in the hand and comes with a carrying case. Everything positive. I took him to a magazine shoot and he took some amazing low res shots but it was a bit difficult to focus in those conditions. Another real surprise was the fact that in some, but not all cases, normal post-processing was able to correct lens distortion. My biggest complaint about the product is the length; It's too compact for regular use. On my Z50, which came with a SmallRig cage, I found that at 7.5mm I had to be very careful where my finger was; On some shots I had to crop the image because my ring or tripod was shot at a very wide angle. I also noticed that I had to close many of the status lights on my Z50 because the lens would catch projections on the frame in low light.

Very compact and economical lens for mirrorless cameras
