They fit in the trunk of my Z just described. The only problem I had was with the installation. It's pretty easy, but I'm having trouble reattaching the bracket to the ball joint on the shaft. I had to beat it, I hope it lasts. After installation, I did not have a feeling of warmth and fluffiness. I didn't hear any "click" from the retaining clip, which would allay my fears that it might come loose when I least expect it. Otherwise the product works fine. This makes it easy to put the trunk all the way up, even in cold weather. To my surprise, it also closes gently instead of slamming down before I replaced the original lifting legs.
