Works great on thick hair! I love this hair dryer! It's perfect for my unruly thick medium length hair. I have found that using a regular blow dryer my hair remains unevenly dry and very difficult to style, not to mention painful to use. This makes it much easier for me to control how I want to style them! It feels like it dries my hair evenly and makes it smoother and doesn't dry it out like a regular blow dryer. Not sure what it is but my experience with the hair dryer was disappointing to say the least. It's a lot more fun and easier to use. It definitely looks bigger than you might think at first glance, but I didn't find it heavy and it's so easy to maneuver, so don't let that put you off buying it. I am now a big fan of all TYMO products, they are always worth it for me! I will edit and post photos when I can.
