Plastic badge with a shiny chrome finish. The peelable backing is easy to remove and adheres well. I've had it in the trunk of my car for months now and it's been through several car washes. Still looking good. There is a thin sheet of transparent plastic on the front. I took it off (very carefully as it turned out to be a protective case and wasn't supposed to be there all the time. Would buy again.
