They go very well with the project I bought them for - plastic wallets/clutches. The only downside is that the ugly side of the clasp ends up on the pretty side of the wallet (above). I managed to fix this by buying giant "trinkets" to glue on. I preferred these clasps over regular computer wallet clasps because the other clasps wouldn't come loose and every time I opened the wallet the bottom just fell off the canvas. This works much better. There are no problems with the magnetic part. They hold together great but aren't strong enough to break out of a project. They are also easy to install. Simply poke through the material, place a flat piece on the back, bend the pins.
