I converted a 1997 Winnebago. The doors of all storage compartments did not remain open due to worn pistons. That meant I had to support her with a stick. I bought a total of 6 new pistons and only installed one for each compartment door. Now the doors stay open without additional support. This makes loading and unloading the motorhome much easier. Also, they were very easy to assemble.
