I bought this air intake for my 2004 Chevy Avalanche. Everything screws on nicely, the baffle is a bit fiddly to install, but I used all the factory screws to get it working. I actually removed the bottom panel from the existing box in hopes of creating more airflow. If you are looking for more power from an intake mod you will only be misinformed. You actually have to build more motor for it to really make even the slightest difference. It makes a cool surround sound under acceleration that keeps your foot more on the pedal, reducing your mileage, but it'll probably make you smile more. It really cleans under the hood to give it a "performance" look. I am happy with the purchase as it is the only cost effective filter and intake manifold option. Don't spend hundreds of dollars on others when this kit does what it does so easily. Save money on other products for your truck and buy this one.
