Review on High-Speed Dual Band Wi-Fi Gigabit Router by NETGEAR: Ideal for Mac and PC (WNDRMAC) by Ryan Arthur

This piece of shit is sleeping after 15 months of shit. One day, the wireless connection to my laptop dropped, and then a high-pitched squeak came from this router. capacitor problems. Toast.------------------------------------------------ -------------------------------------------------- ------------- I only worked 2 weeks. I use my computer more than my laptop. I just hooked up my laptop and Wii and everything has worked fine so far. The signal strength is excellent on the 2nd floor and the router is on the first floor. The only difficulty is the Genie software. You can make customizations using the software installed on your computer, but in certain situations you will be redirected to the Netgear website where customizations are being made. Not sure why this is happening. Also, I couldn't update the router software. It just goes on and on. I can set up parental controls and there is an option to remove restrictions for specific accounts, but after setting it up I'm not sure how it's applied. I'm still restricted even though I'm an admin. Conclusion: The router works perfectly so far. The interface needs improvement.
