I've used thousands of cable/wire ties over the decades and they suck. I've used about 2-3 dozen to hang Christmas garlands along the railing and the very first one (brand new sealed packaging) came loose immediately when I pulled the loose end in the normal way to tighten it. I quickly realized that with a careful forward pull it wouldn't break that easily, but with any sideways pull it could snap off instantly. Locks broke off on 4 of them. I used them at 34 degrees Fahrenheit, not too cold. Avoid these, buy something else. One more thing.
