I highly doubt the commercials but I had a specific need and they said they could drill multiple materials. At work I had to drill glass into a very expensive piece of art. I'm telling you, that's all the ad said. A piece of glass survived, and after that I put them through a serious test. I am a happy and proud owner of these drills. Worth every penny spent.
