Review on Bissell Cleanview Deluxe Handheld Vacuum Cleaner 47R51 by Jessica Hill

I really like this vacuum better because it does such a good job removing pet hair from the carpet (mine has a rabbit there). This is the third vacuum I've bought to help her clean out the paddock and the wide opening with no hoses helps with the occasional hay too. But the vents on the sides blow out dust/dirt before you can get to it. This is very frustrating! Luckily, I read the reviews and knew I had to cover the vents with paper to redirect the air (but it seemed to get a little hot). I thought the reviews might be overblown, but it's powerful enough to blow things across carpet, and it was particularly bad on our hardwood floors. Someone has suggested using snorkel attachments to get around this, but I want to use hair ties and I've found hay to keep getting stuck in the snorkel when I've tried a different vacuum - maybe this is an issue specific to me . Update: I lined the vents with cereal boxes so they face up and this helps keep the fur/dust from blowing away and getting warm. I wish it had been designed better in the beginning!
