I got this to replace the somewhat narrow original Greenbike USA handlebar. Electric bike GB750. The diameter of the center mount was slightly smaller than the stock mount, but with the extra grippy material wrapped, the torque worked flawlessly. The grips, thumb throttle, Shimano thumb shifter, display, phone mount and mirror all moved easily. Neither side is thicker than the other. A wider handlebar (about 4 inches) means more steering stability and confidence on my 20 inch fat tire e-bike. The seat was also replaced with another, not modeled on a camel. This gave more room for the handlebars, and there's shape-based adjustment of the handlebars to change the stroke and angle by simply rotating the attachment point. Overall this is a cheaper solution than 3/4 rods and worked great, the old grip plugs fit the new rods. Measure well to understand how this affects riding position. For cruising it is best to use handlebars no wider than shoulder width.
