I had a hard time fitting it without making any modifications to the recommended assembly. My adjustable stem made me turn the clamp upside down to get the best basket angle. Before I could even use it, a strong wind knocked my bike over and the bag holding the lock's latch broke. I glued it back on as there isn't usually pressure in that direction, but I was devastated at the thought that I would have to fix it before I could even use it. I undid the velcro straps around the top of the rim and added reflective tape to the metal as there is no visible space to attach a bike reflector or existing headlight. I pulled a gallon of milk and a few small objects out of the DG to try it out and other than having to readjust to account for the compression of my front shock due to front wheel bottoming, everything worked fine. Then I had to reverse the rear clamp to raise the basket for release. At the moment the latch is pretty naughty but I'm not sure if this is caused by falling and breaking or if this is normal. Like I said, it broke before I even put it together. If they want to send me a replacement I'd appreciate it, but I have about 3 hours of build time to get it working and I want to use it and don't want it. now waiting for another.
