Review on Dorman 65109 Universal Oil Drain Plug: Easy Fit for 1/2 in. to 3/4 in. or M12 to M18 Drain Holes by Bryan Orozco

The purpose of this connector seems to be to save me the hassle of replacing the entire oil pan on my $1200 car with high installation costs. My plugin threads are shot. We've tried cleaning them and reinstalling plugs of different sizes, but that didn't work. This fork is universal. It should light up on every oil pan. The only thing about it is that it is designed for long-term use. In other words, you don't want to unscrew it too often to change the oil. If you do this, the rubber plug that holds the gasket will not last long and will most likely start leaking oil. So far this has been a great solution. Even if I have to put in a new one every time I change the oil, that's better for me than a complete replacement of the oil pan. :)
