Attaches to headlights after sanding and cleaning. The first headlight I used was Tac's leveling spray and it looked bad after scratching the surface of the felt wiper hard. I threw it in the car anyway. On the second light I didn't use the tac spray and it was a lot harder and some of the adhesive came off the film when repositioned, but not much. I threw them in the car anyway. After 5 days in a cool garage, both headlights look fantastic. Scratched and fine lines disappeared from both. Only a few water or air bubbles remain in the respective headlights. Blisters due to my lack of experience. I was amazed at how well they healed themselves. And they look very nice and clear
