I bought these first to make the XT brakes a little wider. I trimmed the first one for a perfect fit. I then fitted a second one with no cut and noticed that the brake levers were a bit longer. So I screwed up one, they give you 6 pairs. After using these silicone lever pads, I found that my finger stayed on the brake lever even when my hands were wet and/or sweaty. With XT brakes I only need one finger to brake and the rest of my fingers to hold. I also installed them on my other two fat bikes. The protective pads for the levers arrived in a vacuum bag, each pair in a separate bag. We recommend.
