This rating applies to C:3 (plain) connecting rods. They look high quality and well polished. I'd say it's semi-gloss as it's glossy, but not overly so. It's plain and simple, but big enough to get noticed. It's bigger than my other pins, but I like it because it's simple and hides the size pretty well. It came in a small black velvet pouch so you can gift it too. My favorite is black silver, something I don't have and looks very classy. The downside is that there are too many small plastic bags inside to separate and wrapping paper could have been used instead.
