As advertised, this adapter works great where the RV park power pole has a raised edge that prevents the 50A surge protector from hanging vertically. The adapter retracts the surge protection plug from the RV charging station outlet by approximately 1 inch, removing the protruding edge on some RV charging stations. A small device does not take up much space in the mobile home. One of those items you don't need often, but when you do, it's a lifesaver if your 50A plug can't be fully inserted into a recessed socket.
