The metal and ceramic lids that hold the contents are quite difficult to install at first, and they aren't.
Bought to bottle my kombucha after it was ready, the glass is hard and much thicker than a regular beer bottle. Admittedly, the metal and ceramic lids that hold the contents are pretty tricky to install initially, and opening it isn't what you need. But after a couple of house beers or house-made kombucha from your own drink, you get used to it. I recommend these, they are from China but it is still a reliable product.
