Review on Anxiety Calming Wrap for Dogs - Mellow Shirt by Stephen Tharpe

My dog Maddy is afraid of thunder, fireworks, etc. She starts shaking like crazy, her little heart is beating so fast that she is choking. It doesn't stop until some time has passed after all that was has ended. She will be 12 in August and is half Lhasa Apso, half Terrier. I also get nervous when that happens because I'm so scared she's going to have a heart attack. I tried several things but none of them seemed to do anything at all. After all, I wrapped her in a blanket at home for long periods of time and even used my paid vacation days to stay home because I was worried. I just received this jacket yesterday and we tried it on her immediately. It fit well, it was very cute and she didn't seem to mind. When I woke up this morning I started hearing thunder and I knew there was going to be a storm. I got the jacket, found Maddie and put it on. At this point the thunder was not bad and not very loud. Half an hour later the thunder rumbled very loudly. I could not believe my eyes. This jacket is amazing, I'm serious. There was no shortness of breath, no tremors, no palpitations. This went on for the entire duration of the storm, which means a few hours. From time to time she made very small noises that were barely audible and that was it. I'm still hooked and wish I'd tried it much sooner. It is really incredible. Obviously different things work for different dogs but at least I've now found something that works for mine and I can't be thankful enough. It's unrealistic and I'll definitely be buying more, so I always have a jacket for her wherever we go. So happy with this purchase! :)
