I've tried various sous vide bags: counter storage bags leak. The vacuum bags, which I was fed up with, were a nuisance, expensive and only good for one-time use. This solved my sous vide problem. I made a 1 inch New York strip last night and it came out perfect. I like my beef very much. My family has been raising beef cattle (over 200 animals) for 47 years. I worked in college as a chef at an outback-style steakhouse. The only issue I have with these bags is that they like to swim a little. But if you complain, that's ok. What I like about sous vide is that I can light it up and then do something and take my time and not have to rush back to the kitchen. When I'm done, the steak just needs to be seared and ready to go.
