Review on MOOG 513179 Wheel Bearing and Hub Assembly: Ensuring Optimal Performance for your Vehicle by Michael Hudson

Moog products are made in China and have quality issues. I have replaced this assembly on the right front wheel at least 3 times. It's not the bearings that fail, it's the wheel speed circuit used by the ABS and traction control system. The chain is an integral part of the hub assembly, so the entire assembly must be replaced. My Lesabre is 15 years old and has 194,000 miles on it so this will probably be my last replacement. By the way, I tried Timkin and the result was about the same. Perhaps one day production will return to the US and quality will improve.
