This is the second mouse I got. The first had a defective connector that fell completely off when I tried to put a battery in. The second started a burning smell within seconds of me putting in a battery. I immediately pulled the battery out and the battery was extremely hot with a burn mark on both the battery and the coils where the battery had connected with the mouse. I wanted so much to like this mouse but I just don't know I'd feel safe with it being in my house.
