We bought this because of its price compared to other devices for checking exhaled air volume in the home. We placed it in the busiest room in the house with the least airflow. It works as expected. We aired the house several times when toxicity levels (scented kitchen trash bags and Lysol spray used 2 rooms away sometimes causing an explosion) were too high and when the air quality dropped from 'excellent' to 'good'. Offer. Twice we put it outside for 20 minutes when we didn't think the numbers were accurate because they were so high. It worked great outside, so we aired the house for a few hours and the numbers were good again.
