I'm a photographer whose work involves color, so having a monitor that's calibrated similar to the Macbook Pro's hues is incredibly important to me. I've been editing on a non-4k Dell monitor (with a Macbook Pro Retina) for the past year and had to switch because I noticed my colors were inconsistent when editing and the Dell resolution wasn't sharp enough. . Apple lists this monitor as a monitor on their website, so I thought their recommendation was worth it. I am amazed - the difference between day and night. The brightness is excellent and adjustable via the keyboard. Built-in speakers are decent. I love that the included Mac to monitor cable also charges my laptop. 10/10 I would buy again and recommend to every photographer I know!
