I bought some Sonos outdoor speakers and a combo amp. So far, so good. It's cool that I can log into my Apple Music from the amp. It's nice not having to go inside to adjust knobs. The Sonos sound is powerful and clear. Inside the bass is decent, but for outside I need an external subwoofer. If required, you can connect an additional amplifier via the subwoofer output. I used an RCA Y-splitter and hooked up a custom non-Sonos subwoofer and it works great. Nothing to complain about except that my WiFi can be sporadic and I have to wait for it to boot up every time before I can access it from the phone. .It kinda sucks when you want to turn off the sound or change the song and I'm waiting for the wi-fi to connect. It's not a big problem, but the only downside I can think of. Otherwise I highly recommend it.
