The answer was broken, so I gave a bad review at first. but the company explained: The front wheel is designed to move with the turns your grandson will be making. The idea is for the child to lean in the direction they want their bike to turn. This is the first step to balancing on a bike. This is a learning curve towards larger wheels as he ages.
