Do not stick very well
I had to put them about 4 inches apart to hold my HDMI cable in place.
Being 12 inches apart they wouldn't stay in place. They are small and certainly cheap, so go ahead and buy some because they are acceptable if you use a bunch together.

For the money, it’s ok. Depending on your level of OCD, these are hit and miss. The adhesiveness is not consistent, some stick very well and some peel off pretty easily. I run a single ethernet cable, so the clips hold well, but don’t feel like it.If you’re looking for a solid, but pricier and tedious option, you may prefer the nail in clips.
