My truck has done 150,000 miles and the fuel economy isn't as good as it has been in the past. I suspected that the injectors might have accumulated some "junk" over the years, so I decided to give this kit a try. There are two electrical connections and two nozzle holders. I just picked a pair that matched my injectors, grabbed two cans of carburetor cleaner and one injector (the one with the injector on top) (only takes one can) and got to work. I followed the instructions in my Dodge repair manual to relieve the fuel pressure and disconnect the injectors. I placed the injectors in the holder one at a time and held the combination firmly with one hand while pressing the holder against the can's vertical nozzle. I then completed the circuit by tapping the battery (opening the injector) with my other hand for a few seconds and the cleaner was pushed through the injector. The truck seems to run smoother and the MPG readings show better mileage on the local drive than before.
