Review on 🔌 Enhanced Portta Premium HDMI Splitter 1X2: V2.0, HDCP Key, 4Kx2K@60Hz, EDID HDCP2.2 by David Dortch

, I received this specifically for releasing the 1080p Blu-ray output from my player. One output to 4K TV and the other output to DTS-HDMA compatible receiver. The picture was split in 1080p, but the dts hd ma audio signal was not output to another output. It only goes through the dts core. The power adapter was connected but does not work. I then tried to see if it could handle 4k at 60Hz with HDR by plugging in a 4k firestick and then the outputs were one to a 4k TV and the other to a receiver. Ran Netflix which normally showed 4k and HDR but when I ran through the splitter the best I could get was 1080p and regular Dolby Digital, no DD+. checked settings in firestick 4k and 4k option was missing when using splitter. the conclusion is that it was either mispriced and presented or I received a defective one. However, it doesn't skip 4k at all, neither hdr nor HD audio like DD+, dtshdma or truehd. The power adapter was different from the one on the Amazon site. Just a tiny cube that looks like a cheap cell phone charger. I also have a ViewHD UHD 18G HDMI Audio Extractor/Splitter. It has similar specs but is great for splitting 4k video at 60Hz and allows for HDR and Full HD audio streaming. I changed portta to this one just to test again and everything worked fine as it should.
