Perfect solution for my photo and video extraction from devices

Overview: **Cable value USB 3.0 and USB C step-down design SD card reader for Android and iPad Pro - USB-C and Thunderbolt 3 port compatible ** If your family is like ours, you have multiple devices with memory cards, as well as different types of laptops, tablets, and phones that you might want to transfer those files to. We recently encountered a situation where we wanted to transfer video from my son's GoPro camera to one of our laptops, including a MacBook Pro with only USB-C ports and an older MacBook Air with only traditional USB ports. This adapter is perfect. Answer. We used it to extract video from a microSD card in his GoPro, images from an SD card in our Canon DSLR, and video from a drone. The reader worked fine with all of these memory cards and seemed to transfer at a good speed (I didn't rate it, but it seemed fast enough). I was also able to pull the image onto my MacBook Air using a regular USB port. So one card reader solution fits many video devices and all of our laptops. And at a very reasonable price. I love it and it does exactly what I hoped it would.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Some bugs
