Review on Genuine Hyundai 42621 39052 Transmission Assembly by Luis Green

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I never let gear oil get dirty. Transmission oil is the blood of a car's life.

This is the correct part. I ordered a cheaper part (correct part number, same as this one) but the other part was wrong AND it didn't work properly. This one works. I noticed shifting issues and did a little research. This part was suggested as a possible solution. That was the solution to my switching problems. Now smooth shifting and my car has done 175,000 miles. I always changed the gear oil at regular intervals. I never let gear oil get dirty. Transmission oil is the blood of the transmission. These parts tell the transmission the difference between input and output speed so it shifts at the right time. Find a YouTube video on replacing a part. This is an easy task for anyone with manual skills and the right tools. It might be worth buying some tools compared to the cost of going to a mechanic. Tools: 3/8" socket for 10mm and possibly 12mm, ratchet, 6" extension, Phillips #2 screwdriver. I think those are all the tools I used. Sorry if I missed a tool. Again easy exchange. Hyundai Elantra 2005 If you need to replace the input sensor you will also need a 12mm socket to remove the bracket. search video. Just make sure you buy a genuine Hyundai part for your car. It's cheap compared to other websites. I read so many good reviews about Revain that helped me with my purchasing decision. I hope this helps someone too.
