Genuine Hyundai 42621 39052 Transmission Assembly Review

For the money associated with this and another related speed sensor, the problem I had was solved at a much lower cost than anyone could have imagined! Although it took some work to access both sensors, after the replacement the car no longer had any weird shifting problems (shifting when warm and at high speed).

After installing this sensor my transmission immediately locked in 3rd gear with a sharp shift from 1st gear. 4th gear clutch disc misaligned (I could see the clutch disc through the output speed sensor hole instead of seeing the gear teeth that the sensor is supposed to measure). I had to open the clutch pack from the drive wheel, take the clutch out and replace it with a rebuild kit ($245 Rockcar and 6 hours). This is the correct part. I ordered a cheaper part (correct part number, same as this one) but the other part was wrong AND it didn't work properly. This one works.
