Ok now I have 4 of these bad boys! And let me let you go here! READ DIRTY DIRECTIONS PEOPLE! If you plug this in and the temp or humidity plugs won't light up when the temp or humidity is below the desired level. Then it means you are trying to use it in the preset mode and temperatures. This is not an option, you must manually set the temperature and humidity settings before the plugs will turn on and work automatically. I had this problem too, but after looking in the book it was easily fixed! Now for the temperature sensor, it's not designed for your heating pads! They are used to monitor the ambient air temperature inside the cage, and the waterproof sensor is designed to operate in high humidity conditions and will not be affected. Always use a separate controller for your heaters! That way, if one of them fails, you have a backup of sorts. This is especially important during the winner's cold month. They can live and be dry, they can live in cold air with a warm place to keep their organs moving (for a limited time, but you still have time to fix it). You can't live in a cold, damp, dark place! As the saying goes, never put all your eggs in one basket! Purchase a heating pad that has its own temperature control. And don't forget to support local exotic vets! Because they save lives most are afraid to help and help ALL WHO NEED HELP, not just cats and dogs!
