Suitable for GarageBand and guitar
I use this cable with external USB sound card adapter: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B016CU2PEU/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 because my MacBook Air only has a headphone jack. The other options were a bit more expensive and I don't need anything fancy or heavy when I travel. Works perfectly! The cable appears to be quite rigid.
