I bought this monocular primarily for indoor gun sighting. Anything from 50 yards or more, and this monocular works very well for hit detection. It does an incredible job of improving visibility, especially in low light conditions. It works even better if you use these peel and glue/splash targets. It's very easy to use and once you focus, you're done. It's a little bulky, but the glass feels solid. After some deliberation, I decided to take him to the local Christmas parade, which started in the evening and lasted until 8 p.m. This monocular worked fine in good street lighting, but everything was crystal clear and I was able to focus easily and see each platform a few hundred yards away.
